#OneCobb

When our government works together, we make better decisions. #OneCobb is about creating and following through on a vision for Cobb County as it relates to Metro Atlanta. Now is the time to lead.

3Ps of Public Service

The tone of public safety is set with the commissioners. The "3 Ps of Public Safety" agenda is about serving and protecting our quality of life by reinforcing a sense of community.

Improving Mobility Options

Mobility is more than getting from point A to point B. It's how we gain access to opportunities. It's time to think about transit in terms of mobility and expand our options.

Zoning & Economic Development

Zoning decisions are important because of their collective impact on property taxes, community safety, economic growth, and tourism. Growing the tax base begins with following zoning guidelines that will yield economic development and equity.

Municipal Places, Innovation Spaces

Government buildings are important pieces of infrastructure that serve the community. This initiative is about transforming our government buildings with state of the art technology, and retooling libraries to foster economic development by incubating ideas and companies.

The Last Mile of Environmentalism

Our pipes, air, and land all play pivotal roles in our health and quality of life. Last Mile of Environmentalism is about making a commitment to sustainability and empowering the community with information about their environment.

Non-Profit Partnerships

The Cobb 2040 plan has a series of goals outlined with regards to each area of service. This section is about how county services can be creatively and responsibly enhanced by effectively partnering with non profits and social programs.

Fiscal Responsibility

The philosophy of any budget should be that it is balanced and sufficient. This section is about unique ways we can restructure our budget, and create a fiscally sustainable model that accommodates growth.

The Role of a

The scope of the commissioner job is broad, and many of the issues we face fall squarely under the responsibility of the county commissioner role.
